M.S.Dhoni was contracted by the Chennai Super Kings for 1.5 Million USD. This made him the most expensive player in the 2008 IPL Auctions . Dhoni is the present captain of the Chennai Super Kings team. Mahi helped his team to reach the inaugural DLf IPL final of 2008.
